Prosecutors have pressed charges against two police officers and a civilian over the beating of UAE chess official Saud Mohamed al-Marzuki in Szeged last June. Csongrád county prosecutors said three police officers were patrolling in a civilian car when they spotted the official, who was accompanying chess player Salim Abdur-Rahman.

Two policemen will be questioned next week on suspicion of assaulting UAE chess leader Saud Al Marzooqi in Szeged on June 1. A third policeman will be questioned as a witness.
