As usual this annual expat community event was a fun day out for the whole family. Bigger and better each year, this time the entertainment included: Magic Shows, Marionette Shows, and a High School Musical Workshop.

100s of Xpats joined-in and we all raised HUF 333,000 for the 'Red Nose ClownDoctors'. Here's feedback from people you may know: "Congrats on the success of this charity event. Thanks to everyone involved HUF 333,000 was raised by 100's of eXpat guests to help sick children in Hungary via the Red Nose ClownDoctors charity.

I grew up in a small town in Cumbria and knew I was destined for city life. Coming from a family of doctors and nurses I followed suit and moved to London to study a degree in Paediatric nursing. I stayed in London for 8 years and worked in all of the big children's hospitals.

Born in 1964 in the heights of the Black Forrest in Germany, my child hood already laid the way to my future career. Growing up in a family of three generations of restaurateurs and inn-keepers, it was a natural move for me (and my brother) to continue the tradition.

I have been happily living in Budapest for 10 years, an expatriate from the frantic city life of Chicago. I feel especially lucky to have the opportunity to experience a slower but 'sophisticated European lifestyle' in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
