The prosecutor’s office is also preparing to interview Juhasz and other individuals as witnesses in the case, KNYF told MTI.
Noting that the Budapest regional investigative prosecutor's office has set up a separate unit to investigate the case after taking it over from the police, KNYF said the regional office has taken urgent steps to map out the investigation.
So far, two suspects are in custody, with their detention having been extended until Nov 29.
The prosecutor’s office noted that the head of the Szolo Street institution and his partner are suspected of prostituting young adults whom they had hired on paper but did not actually work at the institution.
The man was also in possession of an air rifle without a permit, the office added.
Meanwhile, the opposition Democratic Coalition (DK) expressed solidarity with Juhasz. DK leader Klara Dobrev told an online press conference that Juhasz had been the first one to talk openly about the alleged child abuse associated with the case.
But the authorities are not after the perpetrator but "investigating those that have the courage to speak", she said, adding she was certain that the prosecutor's office was "acting on instruction from the highest level".
"Hands off" those that seek answers to questions around the case, Dobrev said, adding that "should Juhasz or any other person be detained, we'll take to the streets."
