The 17th FINA World Championships has announced it will celebrate watersports and sportspeople in a contemporary circus and dance show on July 30 in the Papp László Sport Arena as part of the closing ceremony of the event, according to a press statement sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

Organizers decided – The 35th Lidl Balaton Cross Swimming is going to be held on Sunday, July 9th.
The Hungarian Meteorological Service (OMSZ) forecasted almost ideal weather for Sunday. The expected water temperature is around 25-26 degree Celsius .

The opening and closing ceremonies of this summer’s World Aquatics Championships will cost Ft 3.8 billion, it emerges from the public procurement bulletin Közbeszerzési Értesítõ. The ceremonies will be held outside the Várkert Bazár on the Buda riverbank.
