National Philharmonic’s Open Air Beethoven Concerts In Martonvásár, Hungary

It has been 55 years since the first concert was given in the grounds of Martonvásár Manor House, the former residence of the Brunszvik family, under age-old lime trees only 32 km from Budapest. Besides the National Philharmonic these concerts feature excellent artists from Hungary and abroad.
Cross-Balaton Swim In Hungary, 20 July

The 2013 Lake Balaton cross swimming competition is planned to take place on Saturday 20 july 2013. By tradition the 5.2-kilometre competition starts at Révfülöp port and finishes at Platan beach in Balatonboglár. Participants are welcome to start swimming anytime between 8 am & 2 pm.

Enikő Győri: Hungary Eill Not Be Forced To Exercise Its Veto

The negative reference to the judiciary’s independence was removed from the country-specific recommendations of the European Union for Hungary and was replaced by a more general statement on strengthening the judiciary, therefore Hungary will not be forced to exercise its right of veto – said MFA Minister of State Enikő Győri at a press meeting in Budapest on 26 June.
