József Vágó (45) CEO of SÓLYOM Hungarian Airways Ltd. was born in Budapest, Hungary. He started his aviation career in 1987 at the Russian Military Aviation Academy as a trainee fighter pilot. Mr Griffin’s appointment as Ambassador to Hungary was announced by the Foreign Minister the Hon Kevin Rudd MP, on 12 May 2011. Mr Griffin presented his Credentials to HE Mr Pál Schmidt on 18 August 2011. Since 19 January 2012, Mr Griffin has been Ambassador (non-resident) to Romania.
