Big Ben is one of London's iconic landmarks - so much so that it was named Britain's favourite in a 2008 poll. This evening was to celebrate its 150th anniversary and the arrival of summer with British specialities - including a summer classic, strawberries and cream.

Over 160 guests attended United Way Hungary’s 5th Annual Gala Dinner at the Budapest Marriott Hotel. The evening featured dynamic speakers, live music, a three-course dinner and an exclusive charity auction.

Around 250 guests, a mixture of expats and Hungarians, attended the 12th annual Budapest Burns Supper at the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal on Saturday evening. The traditional Scottish event marks the birth, life and work of Rabbie (Robert) Burns, who would have been 250 this year, and has become known as the national bard of Scotland.
