The first cultural event of the reopening will be the Night of Museums, scheduled to take place on June 26th, the weekend that is the closest to the summer solstice. This year museums will be open to the public once again, with COVID safety measures in mind.

Mád is the start and end point of the “footsteps of the wonder rabbis” pilgrimage route. The 150 km long route touches 10 towns and villages as it winds its way through the Jewish memorial sites and the architectural heritage of the Tokaj-Hegyalja region.
