Russia’s Mere to Open First Shop in Budapest

The Russian discount chain Mere will soon open its first store in Hungary, in Budapest’s Fourth District, local website Újpesti Hírmondó reports.
The new shop will be opened in space formerly occupied by a Spar store, so creating jobs.
Világgazdaság reported at the beginning of June that Mere plans to open 15 shops in Hungary in three waves, five at a time.
Mere plans to create a network of 100 stores in the longer term of five to ten years.
