The community of The British International School Budapest came together to celebrate the graduation of its Class of 2017 last Saturday at the Intercontinental Budapest. The event was attended by over 250 students, parents, teachers and guests, including Dr Michael Ignatieff PC CM, President and Rector of CEU, and Her Britannic Majesty’s Ambassador Iain Lindsay OBE (pictured below).

'The story of Carmen, the emotional extremes of the characters and Bizet's music are very powerful and inspirational. For me, the main inspiration comes from the abrupt shifts in the story and the music.
