There is some truth in the stories about the caves in the Buda Castle: tunnels were really used by the military during the period of the Cold War. However, while the origin of the labyrinths is less dramatic, they were shaped by forces of nature.

I must admit I don’t eat in Buda too often. I find so much variety and enjoyment in the restaurants in Pest. Recently, however, I was invited for dinner at the newly-opened Alessio Italian restaurant at Pasaréti út 55. And it was a very nice surprise.
