On 06 January 2016 we commemorated the 250th anniversary of the birth of Hungarian poet and botanist Mihály Fazekas. This was one of the reasons we decided on adapting his deservedly most famous and still extremely popular epic poem: Mattie the goose-boy, an original Hungarian tale in 4 acts.

Paddy And The Rats is an Irish Pub Punk Rock band based out of Miskolc Hungary. The group was founded by Paddy O'Reilly (songwriter, vocals), Vince Murphy (bass) and Joey MacOnkay (electric guitar) in 2008. From the Island of Mohács the „devils” still come on boats, according to the legend. Those arriving by boats walk to Kóló Square to join the rest, and then all proceed through the streets, mixing in with the audience along the way.

It has become a tradition for the "Hundred Member" Gipsy Orchestra to give a gala concert on December the 30th in Budapest Congress Centre. The audience will get the chance to hear the pieces of Liszt, Brahms, Strauss and Khachaturian in the interpretation of outstanding musicians.
