For some time now the IHBC has been organising hikes to various places just outside Budapest. This weekend found us going a little bit further to the Börzsöny Hills, about fifty minutes by train.

Join us on March 16th on Szabadság tér from 14:00 and participate in St Patrick’s Day parade. Since 2011 the event has been growing and attracting more and more followers. It is a great family day and last year, despite the cold weather, we had over 1400 people join the fun.
St. Patrick's Gala Dinner, Le Meridien Budapest, 22 March

Since its inauguration in 2008, one of our signature events has been the St. Patrick's Day Gala dinner. The dinner offers a five-star experience with Irish music, Irish dancing, and specially selected Irish foods and drink.

Organised trip to Göd Tophaz Specialis Otthon for disabled children & adults to help bring some Christmas cheer & warmth to those less fortunate. On the program: small gift distribution, Christmas costumes & Live Music Concert! It's an open event- everyone is welcome to join, no special skills required. Always an amazing & very rewarding experience.

What do you do on a hot Saturday late in September? Relax by the banks of the Danube drinking a cool beer? Have lunch at a wonderful outdoor restaurant? Top up your suntan at one of the spectacular outdoor spas? Well, that could be an option. Or instead - what a bunch of multinational volunteers did - go on a trip to Göd.

Summer is now over and autumn is upon us, so get ready for the IHBC autumn walk around the lovely hills of Hármashater. This first autumn walk will be suitable for all (including children). The hike will be between 10 and 12k taking around three hours to complete.
