Invitation: IHBC Christmas Trip To Göd, Hungary, 7 December
- 5 Dec 2013 4:40 AM
Göd is located outside of Budapest, about 30-40mins away (pretty much the same distance away as Szentendre, only the other side of the Duna bank)- we will organise carpooling & grouped traintrips from Nyugati railway station to go there. It's very easy & we've done it several times now.
Bring your santa claus hats or reindeers ears if you have any at home as just put on some red to be in the spirit!
WE ARE LOOKING FOR ADDITIONAL MUSICIANS FOR THE CONCERT, please feel free to pm us/post on the Facebook wall if you would like to volunteer!
Pogacsa usually generously provided by Jack Doyle's Irish pub free of charge. Bringing additional fruits is always a nice idea- especially as you can't imagine how much the kids love a simple apple there! Christmas candies or chocolate could be another kind gesture.
Date: 7th December, Saturday, at 10.00-12:00
His Excellency Kevin Dowling and his Spouse will also attend the event.
After the program the visitors will view the new doors. The doors were manufactured and in-built of the fund generated by Mary Murphy at the Gift-of-the-Gab events.
Feel free to spread the word & invite friends- the more the merrier!

FAQ
Bringing your own children: Going there definitely pulls on the heart strings, I can't say I've ever left there light-hearted. Yet that being said, we previously have had families come & it's gone great- kids seemed thrilled to dress up as elfs and enjoy the Christmas carols.
