See What Happened @ Göd Orphanage Christmas Trip
Taking time out from the hustle and bustle of daily life is always something, I feel, that's to be encouraged - especially to the benefit of others. This is exactly what a good group of expats did recently during a trip organised by the Irish - Hungarian Business Circle to “Göd Tophaz Specialis Otthon”. To find out how Mary Murphy's local 'Gift-of-the-Gab' events are helping disabled Hungarian children and adults, and for a gallery full of heart-warming photos, read on!

As mentioned, the purpose of this trip was to bring some Christmas cheer & warmth to those less fortunate, which the IHBC having been doing so at this particular orphanage for some time now.

To start the day, the orphanage residents put on some live performances, then Santa, assisted by his 'little devil' as well as a gang of helpers, distributed small gifts and fruit around the orphanage, much to the pleasure of everyone. His Excellency Kevin Dowling and his Spouse were also present to enjoy this Christmas spirit.

After the program, visitors were shown around to see the work that the IHBC has done on the building and especially the new reinforced doors. The doors were manufactured and in-built with the funds generated by Mary Murphy at the Gift-of-the-Gab events.

These events are always amazing and heart-felt experiences for everyone, every time…come rain or shine.
