Xpats are welcome at this fun filled day reflecting the community that makes up the school. This annual festival is entirely organized and carried out by the Parent School Association. As always, proceeds from the event go to support the various service learning and community projects of our students.

Sziget is the Island of Freedom and also the winner of the ‘Best European Festival Line-up Award’ in 2015. To live up to its traditions, the festival continues to build its identity upon a very diverse and open-minded program structure, making sure that it is much more than ‘just’ a music festival.

The program is in the framework of the National Talent Program. Participants are young and gifted members of different Hungarian dance ensembles (Hungarian National Ballet, Ballet Company of Győr, Ballet Company of Miskolc, Bozsik Yvette Ensemble, Hungarian National Dance Ensemble), who were once students of the Hungarian Dance Academy.

The Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest has been ranked the 30th top university for performing arts, the latest list released by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings showed. The 2016 global report was the first survey by QS assessing universities for performing arts, the Liszt Academy of Music said.

The greatest show of Hungarian photojournalism returns to the Capa Center in March. The 34th Hungarian Press Photo Exhibition is open to the public since 25 March. 'Nothing special' is the title given to one of the series awarded in this year’s Hungarian Press Photo Contest and Exhibition. These subtle, sensitive portraits filled with empathy depict marginalized people in society.
