The Japanese firm Sejima and Nishizawa and Associates (SANAA) and Norway’s Snöhetta have jointly won the first place in the international tender for the design of the planned new Hungarian National Gallery. The design for the museum will be selected following consultations with the designers, based on professional and financial considerations of the two bids.

A Japanese automaker plans to invest 50 million euros in Hungary in the near future, state secretary for economic diplomacy Levente Magyar told MTI from Tokyo. Magyar did not name the company, but said the investment would create 200 jobs.

In the spring of 2014 past will meet present. The company draws new lines and signs on the blank surface, while past is not forgotten, but rethought.
