In the BMW season, there is room for thematic concerts that pay tribute to composers of the season.
First in the series, the soloists and the orchestra of the Hungarian State Opera present different facets of Wagner, with a programme ranging from an overture to a comic opera and masterpieces of Lieder to the best-known excerpt of his oeuvre, the first act of Die Walküre.

The last domestic performance this year will be on the A38 ship, in Budapest, in the form of a traditional autumn double concert, on October 10th and 11th. This time we are preparing a long, 120-minute show with rarely, long-played or never-before-played songs. Our guests on Friday are Boru from Szeged, and on Saturday Årabrot from Norway.
