The 43rd Lidl Balaton Cross-Swim, originally set to take place this Saturday, 2 August between Révfülöp and Balatonboglár, it is postponed, the organizers announced. New date is Saturday 9 August.

The organizers are expecting 26,000 to 28,000 participants for the 40th Vivicittá Running Festival, the biggest leisure sports event of the spring, which will take place this Saturday and Sunday.

The latest Superfight Series event in Budapest ended with two professional European champions Dominik Bereczki and Csaba Tóth, also known as the "Red Scorpion," returned home with European championship belts.

The Vivicitta Spring Half Marathon is part of a 2-day long event all about running. On Sunday runners can choose between a half marathon (21 km) individually or in team of 2 or 3 or a Vivicitta (10 km) an Midicitta (7 km) while on Saturday the focus is on shorter distances for the less experienced runners.
