Ericsson and Magyar Telekom presented on Thursday the first 5th generation data connection in Hungary, reaching 22 Gbps downlink speed. The 5G connection was presented in Ericsson Magyarország’s Budapest research hub. The integrated radio technology of a 5G network enables 20 times faster downlink speeds than current mobile technologies, Ericsson Magyarország managing director Gábor Éry said.

Demonstrators argue that construction of such a dam would fundamentally change the nature of what they call the last natural beach in Budapest, which is a popular recreation area for the city’s residents.
