On July 25, as part of the Schubertiade Day, the audience will be immersed in Schubert's music from morning to evening: performances will include the F minor fantasy, the Death and the Maiden quartet, Schubert songs performed by Johannes Held, and the Trout Quintet.

The Liszt Ferenc Memorial Museum and Research Centre in Vörösmarty utca 35, District 6, opened in September 1986 in the Old Academy of Music building, previously used from late 1875 until mid-1907 for music teaching. Early photographs show that there were originally two buildings on the site at the time of inauguration but one building has since been demolished.

Frankie Látó, a violinist working on the borders of classical music and jazz, formed his new quartet in 2023. Their work focuses on jazz-rock and fusion jazz, with an improvisational approach and purely instrumental arrangement.
