Valley of Arts Festival in Hungary Announces First Names with Discounts and Gifts
The award-winning Valley of Arts, named the Best Eastern European Festival at the Heavent Festival Awards in Paris, has announced its 2025 line-up. This prestigious recognition places the festival prominently on Europe’s cultural map, surpassing notable competitors such as Serbia's Exit Festival and Kosovo's Sunny Hill Festival.

Returning for its 34th edition, the Valley of Arts will run for 10 days from July 18 to 27, 2025, bringing a mix of familiar faces and first-time icons to the picturesque Hungarian villages of Kapolcs, Vigántpetend, and Taliándörögd. To celebrate its recent award, the festival has unveiled special holiday promotions for fans.

Known for its multi-disciplinary approach, the Valley of Arts offers nearly 3,000 events spanning music, theater, literature, and visual arts.

Major performances will take place at the festival’s largest venue, the Panorama Stage, featuring prominent acts like Carson Coma, fresh off their European tour; Elefánt, who will open the festival; Beton.Hofi, making a return from hiatus; and rising hip-hop artist Co Lee, who will perform with a full band at the Lőtér Stage in Taliándörögd.

The Lőtér Stage, a new favorite since its launch two years ago, will also host Analog Balaton, the internationally acclaimed Jazzbois, and Moriones, a former festival volunteer who has since become a celebrated performer.

Fans can look forward to timeless performances at the Cirque du Tókert Stage by enduring icons such as Zorán and Zsuzsa Koncz, the latter making her debut at the festival. This stage will also feature A Grund – vígszínházi fiúzenekar, a captivating fusion of theater and music led by Márk Ember and József Wunderlich.

So, here are the ones we will definitely meet in 2025:

Beyond its diverse music program, the Valley of Arts has traditionally showcased nearly every field of art during its ten-day run, including theater, literature, and visual arts, with close to 3,000 events each summer. This year, for the first time, the Valley experience will extend beyond the three host villages, offering an even broader array of activities and programs for attendees to enjoy.

Fans who purchase discounted Christmas passes, available in 5-day or 10-day options, can choose an exclusive gift to complement their purchase.

They may select a coupon booklet offering special discounts at partner venues—including Adaptér, the Museum of Ethnography, Art-Színtér, the Archive, Momentán Theater, the Hungarian Architecture Museum, the Transport Museum, Kerekdomb Festival, and Budapest's 2nd District, the newest participant in the festival—or opt for a festival T-shirt or hoodie instead.

During the event, Budapest’s 2nd District will host its own courtyard, enhancing the festival’s vibrant atmosphere with contributions from partners such as Jurányi and Dante.
