Criticism of the central bank and its foundations is “political bluff”, the bank’s governor György Matolcsy said in an interview published in Friday’s daily Magyar Nemzet. Matolcsy said he highly valued the trust placed in him by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and he was sure that they would continue to work together.

Addressing a Hungarian-Bavarian conference in Budapest focusing on the European Union’s challenges, László Kövér said, the unchecked flow of illegal migrants into Europe was the sign of the impending physical aggression Europe could fall victim to.

The decision is astounding, even if the justice argued –somewhat strangely–that it has nothing to do with the court passing moral judgment on sexual attraction, as such.
