Budapest Airport, part of the VINCI Airports network, is launching its winter schedule with record seat capacity. Exciting new destinations and increased frequencies will expand travel opportunities and stimulate the growth in inbound tourism.

Although we thought in 2016 that we could say goodbye to Roxette and the chance to hear their evergreen hits live, Per Gessle, the band's founder, has now picked up the torch and will return to the stage in 2025 with Swedish superstar Lena Philipsson on a tour called Roxette In Concert. The first stop on the European tour will be Budapest, on 4 November at the Budapest Arena.

A direct flight is to be launched between Budapest and Kuwait City, courtesy of Jazeera Airways. The memorandum of understanding on this was signed in January between the airline and Budapest Airport, part of the VINCI Airports network, and the flights will operate from June to September 2025.

Viki started out as a dancer in Budapest, as well as doing other things in catering, and ended up taking over the former 4Play Night Club - which closed due to Covid. She reopened it with the name Showgirls and ran it for a while after moving on from being one of the bosses at Angels VIP Club in Budapest. Update: Showgirls in now closed.

I got bored very easily so just loved the fact that working in a hotel every day/ every shift was different and you never knew what the next day would bring. St. Margaret’s Anglican Episcopal Church Budapest is having a fundraising Harvest Dinner at Menta Terasz Restaurant next Friday. The evening promises a special welcome drink and three menu choices, and will feature guest speaker Alex Faludy, grandson of the Hungarian poet and literary critic György Faludy, and the youngest graduate of Cambridge in the past 300 hundred years.
