Kraft Beer Festival Budapest: Specialty Brews, Street Food & DJs
- 8 Sep 2026 6:14 AM
The free entry festival features more than 30 Hungarian and regional breweries, with a wide range of styles on offer, from classic lagers and ales to barrel-aged beers, stouts, sour beers and other experimental brews.
Visitors can meet brewers, discover limited and unusual releases, and explore beers from countries including Romania, Poland, Finland, Croatia, Cyprus and Bulgaria, alongside a strong Hungarian line-up.
KRAFT is a pay-as-you-drink festival rather than an unlimited tasting event. Entry is free but beer sampling requires a KRAFT festival glass and tokens. Glasses and unused tokens from previous editions are also valid say the organisers.
The beer programme is backed by free live concerts and DJ sets, with music running throughout the festival to keep the atmosphere lively well into the evening. The DJ line-up adds a mix of electronic and party sounds, while a wide selection of street-food options provides plenty to eat between tastings.
The street-food line-up is designed to pair with the extensive range of beers, with Billog, Burba Pizza, Čevap Balkán Grill, Rub Shop BBQ Grill and Teyföl serving up a mix of burgers and other hearty meat dishes, pizza, Balkan-style grilled specialities, barbecue and vegetarian-friendly options.
