Wealth of Hungary's President Baka Revealed in Asset Declaration
President Andras Baka's asset declaration was published on Sandor Palace's website on Friday. According to the document, he owns four properties and has some 130 million forints (EUR 356,000) in savings.

Baka has half ownership of a 270sqm house in Budapest's 12th district since 2002, and the same for a 93sqm apartment in the 5th district acquired in 1986.

Since 1979, Baka has half ownership of a 57sqm weekend house in Szigetmonostor, north of Budapest.

He also owns a quarter of a 42 square metre weekend house in Agard on Lake Velence, which he inherited in 1984.

The president owns a Volkswagen Passat car purchased in 2020, but no other vehicles or protected works of art are in his name.

Further, he also listed 2,000 books, Richelieu furniture, an IWC Portugieser wristwatch received as a gift, a painting received as a gift and another inherited, as well as carpets.

The president has savings of around 130.5 million forints in shares, house-related savings, and government securities.
