The three-day conference starting on Thursday will feature 258 speakers, including historians, sociologists, psychologists, literary historians, art historians, artists as well as musicologists, M János Rainer said.

Over 200,000 people visited an exhibition of Pablo Picasso’s works, which closed on August 28 at the Hungarian National Gallery, the museum said. The four-month display, co-organised by the Musée National Picasso in Paris, has been the largest ever such exhibition in Hungary with some 100 paintings, drawings and sculpture by the artist, the Gallery said in its statement.
