After being Vice-President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hungary for two years. Francesco Mari has recently been appointed by the Board of Directors as its new General Secretary.

Traditional tools of paprika processing are on view throughout the season at Ópusztaszer Heritage Village, however, on Paprika Day the mobile paprika grinder and the foot-pedaled mortar, the "külü" are actually re-animated. Guests also have an opportunity to make garlands of red peppers themselves.
