Report: Balaton Sound Festival In Hungary A Success

This year’s MasterCard Balaton Sound attracted the same record number of visitors as it did last year. A total of 145 000 fans from almost 60 countries came together to celebrate at the sunny shores of Lake Balaton. The festival even had a sold-out day on Saturday, when more than 35 000 visitors enjoyed Faithless and Afrojack.
Manu Chao To Perform Live In Budapest On 13 July

Following Manu Chao’s full-house, 2,5-hour gig at the capital’s Budapest Park concert venue in 2013, branded the concert of the year by critics, the popular French-born artist is coming to Hungary again on 13 July this year to perform La Ventura at Park.

This Castle Festival in Budapest is a feast of classical, swing, klezmer and traditional Hungarian gypsy music. The truely beautiful courtyard of the Vajdahunyad Castle provides a romantic background for this annual event. Hungarian Forint Steady Despite Greek Turbulence

Greek woes may mean some temporary weakness for the Hungarian currency but it is set to firm in the medium term, analysts say after a brief wobble. The forint showed resilience on Monday, trading at 316.06 to the euro late in the day, down from 314.68 on Friday but up from 316.44 late Sunday. It hit an intraday low of 317.12 on Monday.
