The downturn in the construction industry continued as output in March contracted 12.6% year-on-year, the Central Statistics Office KSH announced. Compared to February output was up by 0.1%. Telenor will pass on added costs from the new telephone tax to subscribers unless one of the two taxes hitting the sector is phased out, communication director István Kutas announced yesterday. Telenor will face an additional Ft 1 billion burden per month, if the new tax, the second sectoral tax, begins July 1, Kutas observed.
