Unfair Conditions: Official Scrutiny of New Car Sellers in Hungary Started
The National Economy Ministry has ordered a consumer protection probe of new car sellers after complaints made over general terms and conditions of sale.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the ministry said consumers had complained that new car sellers were writing out of contracts their responsibility for late deliveries and including conditions allowing price increases upon handover.

The government and the National Economy Ministry will take all steps necessary to ensure Hungarian families don't suffer material damages because of unilaterally defined, unfair contract conditions, it added.
