Budapest mayor István Tarlós and 13th District mayor József Tóth opened a museum of Hungarian rock music at the Radnóti Miklós Cultural Centre on Thursday. Several members of the great generation of Hungarian pop, who forged careers in the 1960s and 1970s, attended.

Personal computer sales in Hungary rose 4.3% last year even as global sales fell 10%, business daily Világgazdaság said, citing data from market researcher IDC. Bence Bagi, an analyst for IDC Magyarország, said a big push to use up available European Union funding supported the increase.
