City council approved a plan to have boats carry passengers on the Danube within Budapest as part of the public transport operations. The fee is Ft 400, but seasonal passes will be accepted. The ferry services started on July 1.

The exhibited photos were selected from the collection of the Hungarian Museum of Photography of Kecskemet. The Central Prosecutors Office is investigating what may be one of the biggest series of abuses committed by Hungarian police, based on reports filed by the National Police, Népszabadság reports. The suspicion is that a group of senior officers regularly offered Budapest Police services for cash – for instance securing dangerous or oversize shipments – without issuing invoices.
