The probability of default is seen as highest in Pakistan, Ukraine, Hungary and Croatia. UBS notes that Hungary’s state debt is high in relation to GDP, which is suffering from a poor growth outlook.

"The dates for changing excise taxes on tobacco will change from May and November to February and July, under a bill passed by Parliament on Monday. The MPs approved a tax rise of Ft 50-60 per packet of cigarettes, a higher figure than earlier planned, to take effect February 1. A further Ft 15 will be added to the price due to the rise in VAT.
