Budapest Airport has submitted a petition to the Constitutional Court of Hungary, as the airport operator believes that it has been the subject of a disproportionately large increase in land tax this year. Budapest Airport’s view is that the sudden and disproportionate increase in local land tax violates constitutional principles.

The Capital's Court of Appeals on Wednesday voided the contract on a swap of land plots related to the planned Sukoro King's City tourist project, upholding the verdict handed down by the lower Fejer county court. The Media Authority has extended Klubrádió’s provisional broadcasting licence to August 5, but rejected its application to reduce its broadcasting fee from the present Ft 6.5 million for two months.Klubrádió has been operating for about 18 months on a provisional contract, which the authority extends every other month.
