Orbán Sends Condolences To Kohl’s Widow

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has sent a letter of condolence to Maike Kohl- Richter, the widow of former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, a copy of which was published on Orbán’s website. “Kohl’s death represents the loss of a great architect of the united Europe at a time when the founding fathers’ courage, wisdom and farsightedness would be much needed,” Orbán said in his letter.
LMP Blames Government For ‘Opening Gap’ With Region

The opposition LMP party has blamed the government for Hungarian living standards falling behind other countries in the region. Erzsébet Schmuck, LMP’s deputy group leader, cited Eurostat figures at a press conference held on Tuesday, saying that Hungary’s consumption stood at 63 percent of the European Union average.
Ukrainian Airlines Launches Daily Flights Between Budapest & Kiev

Ukraine International Airlines, the country’s national airlines has launched daily flights between Budapest and Kiev, the first flight landed with nearly 150 passengers at Liszt Ferenc airport on Thursday, Budapest Airport told MTI on Friday. The airline will fly Boeing 737-800 planes on the route.
