Someone could nitpick and say that János Áder has not been confirmed as president yet. He was only nominated by Viktor Orbán and endorsed by the Fidesz-KDNP parliamentary caucuses. Sziget Budapest Loses Main Sponsor As Vodafone Pulls Out

After two years as the main sponsor, Vodafone will not take a sponsorship role in this year’s Sziget Festival, the mobile operator confirmed, citing cost cuts. Vodafone became the main sponsor of the annual open-air summer festival in 2010. The company called the last two years a success, adding that co-operation with the organisers was good.

Péter Szijjártó, the Prime Minister’s spokesperson, announced yesterday that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had nominated MEP János Áder as President of Hungary. The Prime Minister met with the leadership of his party, the Cabinet and the parliamentary groups of the governing parties before making the official nomination.
