In 2012 Titanic is not only going to present the most inspiring foreign films, but the organizers plan to turn the festival into a celebration of Hungarian film as well. Although the programme has included Hungarian or Hungarian-related films in the previous years as well, the real showcase for Hungarian film production has been the Hungarian Film Week so far.

According to current news, however, the Hungarian Film Week will not be organized next year, thus Titanic International Film Festival will gladly assume this role and is looking forward to receive submissions not only from abroad, but from Hungarian filmmakers as well.

Submitted films should have been released after 1st January, 2011 and should not have been previously screened in Hungary. We are only expecting fiction films which are longer than 70 minutes. The submission deadline is 1 March, 2012, and the submission is free. "
