Since 1997 the festival has grown to be one the most significant and well-known gastro-cultural tourist events in Hungary and Central-Eastern Europe. The Csabai Sausage Festival was signified as the only High-Quality Gastronomical Festival of 2009 from all of the Hungarian festivals.
