The agreement ensures fairer conditions for people who have worked in both countries, the ambassador said. It eliminates parallel payment of social security contribution in the two countries, the ambassador said.

Each group of representatives can submit two questions by Thursday 3pm to be put to Navracsics, the Hungarian Commissioner-designate for Education, Culture, Youth and Citizenship.

Tibor Navracsics, Hungary’s foreign minister, has been selected to serve as EU commissioner for education, culture, youth and citizenship, the commission announced on its website on Wednesday. Hungary nominated him to the new European Commission headed by Jean-Claude Juncker in July.
