This watering-hole opened earlier this year in the heart Budapest, facing Károlyi garden. Csendes Társ (Silent Partner)is a wine store, café and pub all in one. The place is multifunctional: beyond the usual selection of soft-drinks, coffees and various types of alcohol, more than 500 types of Hungarian wine and around 200 types of Pálinka are available.

According to Budapest folklore you can hear many different variations on what is hidden by the iron gates in the side of the Buda Tunnel. There is some truth in the stories about the caves in the Buda Castle: tunnels were really used by the military during the period of the Cold War. However, while the origin of the labyrinths is less dramatic, they were shaped by forces of nature.
