Last Thursday, 3 December, XpatLoop.com held its latest wine club event in Akvárium at Erzsébet Square, downtown Budapest. Késői Szüret (Late Harvest) productions was established in 2005 by Sebestyén Nagy and Gábor Tóth with the goal of popularizing (mostly Hungarian) quality wines. In November 2005 an eponymous program was launched on radiocafé 98.6 (currently on RadioQ 99.5 Wednesday evenings 20:00-21:00) on which wines are tasted and discussed by our two anchors, Sára Megyeri and Sebestyén Nagy.

Exciting news for wine lovers, the first wines bottled in the new Szekszárd regional bottles are now available. A new bottle type named after the wine region has been introduced to be exclusively used by Kadarka, Kékfrankos red wines produced in this wine region, along with the traditional red blend Bikavér - known to the world as 'Bull’s Blood'.
