The climate change of the last decade has affected Villány very fortunately.



In addition to the optimal combination of the different blue grape varieties and the soil structure, the dry autumn period before the harvest results in exceptional quality grape material.

Germany's largest online wine review portal, selection-online.de, honored the winemaker of the Jammertal Wine Estate, Ms. Zsófia Kövesdi, with the title of "International Female Winemaker of the Year 2023."



A minimum of 5 submitted wine samples were scored, and the highest average score was achieved by Ms. Zsófia Kövesdi. In addition to her, 3 other female winemakers achieved an average of at least 91.5 points, which shows the very high quality of the items submitted and evaluated, as well as the strength of the competition.
