Idly looking around online for things of a cultural bent to do in the capital, I landed on the Müpa Budapest website and was struck by how many of the events were sold out, particularly as we’re talking pretty high culture.
Big Charity Concert Soon in Budapest to Support Turkey-Syria Earthquake Victims

A big concert will be held to support victims of the Turkey-Syria earthquake on March 22 at the Hungarian Heritage House in Budapest, where well-known performers of world music, early music and other genres will play, the Hungarian Interchurch Aid announced.

The Busójárás (“Busó-walking”) of Mohács is one of the most important and most well-known such customs, and is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
