The Museum of Ethnography will reopen at its new home, a “state of the art” new building near City Park, with large-scale exhibitions in the spring next year when it will celebrate its 150th anniversary, ministerial commissioner László Baán said.

Miklós Ybl was born on April 6th, 1814 in a wealthy trading family in Székesfehérvár. From 1825 he studied in the Imperial and Royal Polytechnique Institute. From 1832 he worked and studied at two famous Hungarian architects Mihály Pollack and Henrik Koch.
