Watch: Pride March Held in Budapest, Amid Counter-Demos
The Budapest Pride March was held in the capital on Saturday. Waving rainbow flags, the LGBTQ community and their supporters marched down Andrássy Boulevard, past Heroes’ Square to a stage erected in the City Park, where they heard musical performances and speeches by activists.

The national economy ministry on Friday rejected reports branding Hungary the poorest country in the EU, calling the reports “nonsense” and “wilful lies”, a misinterpretation of an Eurostat report stating Hungarian household consumption as 70% of the EU average.
