Hungarian Passport Among World’s Most Powerful
Hungary ranks among the countries with the strongest passports, according to the latest Henley Passport Index. Hungarian passport holders can travel visa-free to 184 countries, placing Hungary fifth in the world, level with Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and the United Arab Emirates.

The index measures passport strength by the number of countries granting visa-free or visa-on-arrival access.

Singapore tops the list with access to 192 destinations, followed by Japan and South Korea at 188 and several European countries.

Hungary has consistently featured near the top in recent years, reflecting the international mobility its citizens enjoy.

Other top-ranking countries include Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, and Italy, while the US ranks 10th with access to 179 destinations without a visa.

Some of the least powerful passports are issued by Bhutan, Afghanistan, Iraq and North Korea - and as you would expect travel to and from these countries is extremely difficult.
