Art From Home: 'Motherhood', Fine Arts Museum, 29 March
In autumn 2017 the Museum of Fine Arts and some of the MA students of the Metropolitan University of Budapest collaborated on a project within the framework of the institution’s integrated arts course with museum interpretation being at its focus. In addition to telling stories with and about works of art, the semester’s key drivers were creativity and thinking outside the box.

It is important to note that the alternative routes were designed by the students based on a personal approach and not art history criteria.

The project and the sharing of the routes have a two-fold purpose: to draw attention to the various possible approaches to a classical artwork, and to encourage visitors to build a personal relationship with the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts.

First please welcome the personal route recommended by Katalin Tasnádi (design and art management graduate, mother of two) inspired by the theme that is the most topical and important to her at the moment: motherhood.
