"Hungary second occasion joined the international affairs of World Sleep Day. At the event which was organized by the newest Hungarian medical website, the Napidoktor (Daily Doctor) well known sleep specialists told; the chronic or extended deficiency of appropraite sleep is the cause and the consequence of several illness and it’s in direct connection with the daily working and defines the quality of people’s life and the length of the age.

According to the latest (in 2009 and in 2010) Hungarian workplace sleep survey, in which the sleep habbits of thousand adult employees were examined, establishes it; the proprotion of the persons who has sleep troubles and live together with this for a long time is almost the half of the asked (46 %).

The proprotion of those who do not sleep well least three occasions weekly is 34 % and 15 % has problems at work becuase of the drowsiness.

79 % of the respondents does not consult with a doctor about their sleeping disorders.

The aim of the survey made by Benyovszky Medical Center is that in a few years in Hungary then with international champaign to be ready with Europe’s sleep map.

The president of the domestic program, World Sleep Day was; Dr. Zolán Szakács – Head of the Sleeping Company, leader lecturers were; Dr. Mária Várszegi – Somnocenter Szeged and Dr. Zsuzsanna Vida – Executive Physicians of Somnocenter Budapest.

The data of the Hungarian surveys are more adverse than the presently known international (European) general sleeping state.

Primiraly, everybody is responsible for his/her own sleeping; the election of suitable circumstances, the one’s lifestyle, and if the person is sick to look for a healing solution as soon as possible to extinguish the sleeping disorders.

The level of the Hungarian sleeping redress is high, the new somnocenters and laboratories which were founded in the past few years are all licensed with the Graduation of the European Medical Accreditation."
