Pentagon To Send $10mn In Military Aid For Hungary
"Hungary will receive $9.98 million in aid from the US Department of Defense after the US Congress approved on Wednesday a project to train and equip the Hungarian armed forces mission in Afghanistan.

Hungary is one of eight countries that will receive aid. Georgia, Croatia, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Hungary will receive a combined $50 million for their some 1,300 soldiers in Afghanistan.

The Pentagon said the money allocated will be spent on better co-operation between US forces and the states’ troops, who are carrying out anti-terrorism and stabilisation operations in the Asian country."
